Instant Photography


We're used to toting out digital cameras around, but going back to the 60s, Edwin H. Land's invention did capture the essence of the power of spontaenity. He was pretty much ahead of his time really, and whilst he isn't around now, the spirit of his invention sure lives on. Come to think of it, he was REALLY capturing the essence of instant photography - nowadays, you can preview the image, but unless you have one of those compact thermal printers with you, you'd still need to make your way down to one of them print shops to get your prints (or upload them somewhere, somehow). Hmm, now Da Vinci too, was pretty much ahead of his time but well, that'd be another story all together...
