Impression, Saturday


I'm not quite sure Monet had our present day digital medium in mind (nor could he have possibly imagined) when he did his Impression, soleil levant. But well, 146 years on, here's what happened on one digitally prolific Saturday ...




... and so begins Impression, Digital (well, at least that's what I'd like to THINK of it as...). And whilst Monet and his fellow Frenchmen are credited with one of the most notable artistic movements of our time, we move across the Channel to visit a most clever invention brought to us by the English that broke the stalemate along the Western Front almost 90 years ago, brought to you right here on my table top in all it's 1/35th scale goodness (and almost 70 years of evolutionary changes)...
