The forest fires in the neighbouring islands are really doing this place in. PI read 119 this morning. 100's good enough for you to get an excuse to don a 3M respirator, but 119 really gives you cause to get a bad throat (and absolutely atrocious weather for tennis...)

The view around has been almost obliterated save for what is in the "near field" regime...I normally peer out the window and see a particular hill...this morning, it was more of what appeared to be a massive white-out. Ok, going to hit the sack before hitting the office in a bit...
