Back in school (materials school that is), we learnt of the various coating techniques that existed out there for a multitude of applications. And no matter how you take things apart in theory, and break it down to all of its constituents/components/ingredients/chemicals, there's really nothing quite like holding one of it in your hands. Dr. Ti understands that very well. I'm just beginning to learn what it's all about...neat.
