It's a little early for Nostalgia...considering the fact that I've only been back for a little shy of 3 months. But it's hard not to miss a place that looks like this when one is faced with torrential monsoon rains characteristic of the region. Then there is that "fabled" White Christmas fantasy that comes with this:

The last few weeks were mighty cold here in Freiburg, although the snow was restricted to the hills. Today and yesterday have been above freezing and it's supposed to stay this way for a few days.
